区区往来（まちまちおうらい）は、南房総地域の内房に位置する鋸南町という小さな町にて2023年5月に始動した企画制作プロジェクトです。地域が抱える課題や取り組むべきテーマに応じながら、人びとが能動的に集まることのできる場や機会を一つずつ丁寧に作り、その状況や成果を外に向けて発信していくことを目的としています。
具体的には音楽ライブや映像上映のようなイベントや、食やDIYアートを扱うマーケットやワークショップ、または作品展といったものを企画していくことになりますが、当ウェブサイトへの掲載記事と連動したzineの出版も行う予定です。
東京から車に乗って一時間ほどで辿り着けてしまうこの地域に広がる自然の豊かさとその風光の美しさのように、中心＝都市部から視点を少しずらすことで初めて見えてくるものがあります。区区往来はこの南房総地域を拠点としながらも、さらにその外側にある他地域との間も行き来することによって人と人を繋ぎ、ひいては異なる地域同士の交流＝MIXを積極的に促していきたいと考えています。
かねてより其処彼処に存在していたものたちを組み合わせることにより、過去ではなく今に寄り添ったアイデアを醸成させるための新しい器を作っていきたいのです。
Machi-machi Ourai is an event planning management project based in the south area of Boso peninsula in Japan started in May, 2023.
Creating places and opportunities that people can gather proactively as events, according to regional issues and other themes. And transmit its situations and achievements outside of the local scene is the purpose.
Like the Boso peninsula’s nature and scenic beauty which can be reached in about an hour by car from Tokyo, it’s only be seen by shifting own perspective from the center.
While based in this area, Machi-machi Ourai is intended to connect people to people by going and coming in between other areas, and by extension, to actively encourage a mix of culture from each different region.
By combining things that have existed here and there for some time, this project hopefully encourage to create new vessels for fostering ideas that are in tune with the present, not the past.

倉持政晴｜Masaharu Kuramochi
1975年大阪生まれ。国内外の独立系文化とその周縁に集う人びとが生みだす表現、作品、場に強い関心を持つ。かつて東京の渋谷に存在したスペース「UPLINK FACTORY」では1999年より約20年間に渡り数多くのイベントや作品展を制作した。現在は拠点を房総半島に移し、企画制作プロジェクト「区区往来」のプログラムディレクターとして活動中。
Born in Osaka, in 1975. He has a strong interest in independent culture from Japan and overseas, and the expressions, works, places and moments made by people who gather on its area. He has produced numerous events and exhibitions at the venue called “UPLINK FACTORY” in Shibuya, Tokyo, for about 20 years since 1999. Currently, he has moved his base to the Boso Peninsula, and working as the program director of his new project “Machimachi Ourai”.
